So recently I’ve had this issue on Chrome browser, it basically freezes your Windows system and you have to do hard reset to get back, Ctrl-Alt-Del is useless in this case.
The problem seems to arise every time there is a flash video or any other flesh element appearing on the webpage.
Here is how I fixed it:
on your Chome browser.
Find Macromedia Flash Player, and see if it shows “2 files“. If it does that means there is a Flash player from Adobe Installed in addition to built in Flash Player from Chrome.
If you see 2 files then this should fix your problem.
Click to view details on top right.
Disable the built-in plugin from the 2 available. It’s the one within Chrome directory.
